Hey, I've working on EdgedHost.com for almost a month now. Finally got 98% of the things together today and have made it public. So, my first mission is to get feedback from people on the new site. if you are wondering if the skin was premade and if I just "plugged" in the info, no, the skin/template was custom made along with the THT and forum customizations.The knowledge base was also custom made. 🙂

Your free package is very small. You should probably make it a little bit larger. Still, your paid package is pretty good, though I don't know how reputable you are. Also we need to know your uptime.

Thank you Cosmic for the feeback. The free package is quite sufficient if you are just hosting/starting a forum or blog. It is always an option to upgrade to one of our other packages.
Currently, our reputation is as much as our age, metaphorically nothing.
So far(1 month) we have had 100% uptime. We will soon be adding a uptime script for the public.

But you can get 800 MB for free at the host I use (won't name it, unless you actually want me to). If your plans are smaller than your competitors, no one will sign up. You have to make up for your lack of reputation with generous plans. I, personally, won't pay $$$ to a webhost which has no reputation when the industry is saturated with webhosts that do have reputation. There has to be more incentive.

I completely understand your viewpoint and agree with your suggestions. TBH, I don't think it's you personally who won't pay even a dollar to a company which has next to no reputation, but probably most people with common sense/knowledge.

We will soon be adding a second server, which means we can basically double the space/bandwidth features. The following are our planned packages when we add a second server:
