Things you are interested in no one would expect

What's something you're interested in that most people wouldn't expect?

There are quite a few people in my community that do not know that I am actually interested in forums, and how they operate. Most people I think would be surprised, if they heard about what I am interested in.
 
I listen to heavy metal sometimes and I don't look the type 😀
 
I don't talk about forums, gaming or anime among my real-life friends. They're not interested in any of it, so I just don't bother to tell them about my much nerdier side. XD
 
People on this website or just in general. well world of gaming with people that i play and stream with, they have no idea at times that I have a site and do web stuff LOL

Either way. I gave a real world example, because there aren't a lot of those around me (to my knowledge), that are familiar with forums in general. It is a bit hard to find someone in person that runs a forum in life, that isn't in school while they are running it. Now gaming on the other hand, it can be rather easy to figure out who in the local area plays games and local tournaments.

THey do know what fourms are but they don't have the full understanding. COmes down to the group of aged based people I'm always with since they tend to use Facebook. BUt most stream themselves.

SAme with family members wonder how much they know and don't know!!
 
I grew up on dirt bikes, ATV's and motorcycles. So, I have a huge interest in motorcycles and off road vehicles. 🙂
 
Looking at my bright white skin, a lot of people don't expect that I actually like to be outside. My family makes fun of me for being indoors all the time! Unfortunately, I get sunburnt even with 100SPF sunblock, so it's not safe for me to be outside for more than two or three hours at a time. 🙁 But I love activities like gardening, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, etc.

ROFL! I can relate a little. I burn up really bad in hot-ish weather. Got burned really bad from walking my dog in 28C temperature, my arms were badly burned, and even my scalp was burned. It was so sore. Couldn't sleep comfortably for a week. (I did discover the benefits of camomile lotion for burns at that point XD). I just avoid staying out in the sun for too long in warmer weather, but I do love being outside. Sun holidays are not for me, that's why I go on sightseeing ones instead.
 
That I love to learn & write, a lot! I'm constantly researching, finding out the Whys & Hows of things.

As a student, if I saw my teacher pull into the parking lot with heavy metal blaring, I'd be speechless.
 
1. Forums are a big NO in my entire STATE

2. Not many of my offline and online friends know that despite being a doctor, I am also a international constitutional law enthusiast.
