Thinking of starting a new forum

I am thinking of starting my own forum, but I don't know if I'm ready. I am thinking of a promotion forum like FP. I need ideas for names and would love advice 😀

Congratulations on deciding to start a forum. It's an exciting venture!

Personally, I would advise you to stay away from creating a traditional promotion forum. The promotion forum market is saturated and it's hard to see any difference between one forum and the next in that category. I would recommend centering your forum on a more specific niche. If not, how would you make your forum stand out? That would be what determines your success.

Just my advise. 🙂 I'm sure other member have more input on this.

Well, what sort of things interest you? What do you know a lot about? Is there a particular sport or video game you like? Book series? Do you read a lot? Just think about it.

I know FP makes Promotion Forums sound REALLY appetizing but being a staff member of other promotion forums no one does it quite like Forum Promotion. I would only recommend moving forward if you are willing to stay dedicated to it for the long haul. I've seen so many forums start up only to be abandoned after a month or due to lack of activity. There are so many promotion forums out there as it is but if it's something that you really want to do then go for it! However, I highly recommend before you do plan it out and strive to establish why YOUR promotion forum is different from any other promotion forums out there.

You should definitely find something that you're passionate about. Gaming, music, literature, science, religion, business, and a lot more. Narrow it down to what you REALLY want to cover on your future forum.

No one wants to join a forum where even its owner doesn't know what to put. I'm sure you'll think of something.
