Ok, I wrote to ABC News with this story, and received and email saying it has been accepted and should be sent by letter to the head producer with back up info. Well I wanted to share the story as I have it wrote. Pictures last long but text lasts longer. This is a real event and really happened. Absolutely 0 percent of this is fake or false. I can assure you that.

Innocent Until Proven Guilty
A year ago, my Mother was arrested for assualt. Now before I go further, this case was past off by the DA and was never sent to court. She was claimed innocent and spent one night in jail. The so called 'crime' was commited on her way home from work. We own a circular driveway with two openings. So upon arrival to the house, one of the driveways was blocked by one of their cars, while their driveway was empty. This was the straw that broke the camels back. The authorities were contacted before on this matter and they were given a citation. Oh, and yes, I many times. So she got out, walked over there to chat with them about the vehicle. They were standing in their lawn enjoying a beer. Now my mom, a 5'5 obese woman who can barely breathe on her own and has a medial condition called pulmonary hypertension, walked over to the house, and told them to move the car. The husband of the group came over, a 250 pound, muscular biker, came over and said he can "Park wherever he damn well pleases". He came towards here, then my mom proceeded to pick up the can in a manner so it faces towards him, but he took it and threw it on the ground. My mother, nearly falling without the cane, stood near my dad, sister and me as she called 9-1-1 because of this. The husband 'biker' went into the garage and came out with a long slice along his arm. Claiming with his family backing him up that the cane did the workings. As Police arrived, it was non-other than their pal. He knew them from a while back as we heard. He proceeded to talk to both parties about the situation and arrested my mother of felon of assault. Apparently the other pantie's stories sounded better to him. They had to get a Paddy Wagon to take my mother to jail, but while loading her in, she had a heart attack. She was taken to the hospital and survived. Thank the man upstairs. She was *handcuffed* to the bed while she was in the hospital with the cop sitting right there watching her. After a while she was just to be put as 'under examination' meaning they watch her overnight to make sure she won't have another heart attack. Well the maid person put pillows around her hand generously as the hand was at an uncomfortable position. The cop said quote "Why are you treating here like this?" and the maid said "Why are you treating her like this?". So after two hours the cop decides she is fine and tell the doctor they are leaving. The cop however, told us, the family, we could see her before she left. That was an utter lie. He left with her to the city jail. Upon entering the city jail she was questioned. Questions such as this quote. Cop "Where you injured in the transport?", Mother "Yes, My butt was burned" (Doctors confirm, 3rd and 3nd degree burns). Cop "Ok so that's a no". He proceeds to mark no. In the jail cell, she had to sit on a bunk bed with no bed, just metal. The toilet faced out towards the other prisoners and was completely fifthly. And the bathrooms were decorated with toilet paper 😉. At this point, she needs her medication. She is diabetic and needs insulin to keep her alive. The police, however, denied this request. Afterwards she was taken to a county jail and was held in the infirmary because she couldn't be with the rest of the prisoners. the blanket was filled with gooey and disgusting stains. The bathroom had no toilet paper yet again. And the show door was so steep, she could not get in alone, she would need someone. After awhile the judge came in and talked to her. This was the first time she was read her Miranda of rights. The cop who arrested her never spoke of it, nor did any officer proceeding that officer. Which of course, is a violation of state and federal law. By the next day, my dad, her husband, bailed her out and she hired a lawyer. The DA (District Attorney) passed this case off after the party that accused her of the crime, failed the poly graph test. It was also reviewed by a detective and closed because he said "It was not logical.".

We have a two year time frame to sue. It will be the police department and the city for the unfair treatment and nearly fatal trip to jail.

NOT IN LETTER: She was refused medication that she needed for living, she has pulmonary hypertension which was increased because of the stress of that day and throws up when she sees a cop too near. This is caused by trama, stress and emotional distress.
Discuss.

Exactly. Right now we do not have the best of finances and a heart attack is major.

Well you should win and then you can get them to pay your legal fees.

However they should give you some compensation due to the seriousness of the matter, the fact that your mother had a heart attack whilst in police custody doesn't look too good on them now does it? 😉

Thats the problem. We can't find a lawyer willing to take on sueing the city. We have such a strong case too!

The local news just got this too. This should be fun 😛

Hm that's odd, you'd think a Lawyer would die to jump on a case such as this, seeing as it's big and you've got a strong standing point your bound to win, on the other hand if you lose, that means he would have pissed off the whole city

What a story! I have to agree with Nathan, you should seriously sue them. Please keep us updated I really want to see what's going to happen.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I always knew cops were crooked, but not this bad. Come on. That makes me mad. BEYOND mad... Sue em til they can't stand without paying you money.

Lmao, yes yes they are. I am from America, but the thing is. The government as a whole is. They're all power hungry.

As Nathan said, I can't believe that a lawyer hasn't jumped on this case, which you have, yet.

The Grinch said:
The American police are f*****g idiots, we already knew that.
Hahahah! I know! + rep for that, I double it 😉

Since it is X mas we are waiting to keep looking until February or January.

Glad you guys read it though.

I sent them the letter today. It will probably get there soon. I will receive a letter or email stating they have attained it and if it will be published or not.

Mmmm ok, I can't wait to see it. I hope those cops rot. My grandfather has diabetes too.

Hey mate,

I wish you the best of luck with this. I could not go through something like this, and with your courage, I'm sure things will be settled appropriately.

Havent got confirmation yet because of the mailing system, but I think they got it.
