Uniqueness
I don't recall ever seeing a website/forum that helps members with coding. There may be other coding sites out there but I think sites like that are few and far between. I congratulate you on having a site that is different from others instead of going along with the crowd.
Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism
I didn't notice a whole lot of grammar/spelling mistakes and that is good. I recommend you keep that going. I don't know about you but that is something that will draw me away from a site. I don't mean to sound like the grammar police but I don't like it when I'm looking at a site (regardless if it is a website, a forum or a blog, it doesn't matter to me) and it is just littered with grammar/spelling mistakes everywhere. I just think that it looks very unprofessional if a site as a bunch of mistakes in that department, especially if it is coming from the staff members.
Weaknesses:
First Impressions & Appearance
I wasn't really pleased with the look of the site at first glance. The graphics and the overall "look" of a site can have a lot to do with attracting members. I know it may be difficult to find graphics that go along with the "theme" or niche of your site but I know one way to fix that. You can have a graphics contest among members. Whoever can come up with the graphics you need will get recognition for creating them, plus, have the opportunity to win any prizes that you have available.
Statistics & Activity
When I first looked at your site, I was greeted by several articles (which is good), however, most of them only had 1 comment or no comments on them at all. And the forum aspect of your site, there are some sections that have one or two topics in them or no topics at all. To a guest viewing your site for the first time, this doesn't look good. It looks like the members you have aren't interested in what goes on and that will make guests and potential members loose interest quickly. I would suggest the staff posting at least a couple of comments on the articles and posting a few threads in each section of the forum. That will help get your members discussing and those areas won't sit there empty. I did notice that the first article on the board was announcing a giveaway. If you have giveaways and contests where members can earn prizes, I'm sure that will help boost activity because everybody loves to win prizes.
Final Remarks:
I think if you made some improvements in a couple of areas, that you could have a good site here. I think the biggest thing is just improving the activity that you have now and I believe more people will decide to join in the future. Also, don't give up if you ever feel frustrated. I think all site owners will experience frustration from time to time but the successful ones will keep at it and will refuse to give up.
