Thought On Hostgator

I'm definitely on Hostgator as I speak with 3 years hosting with them. I hear good and bad reviews from people. Support is very slow and slacking which I agree with.

Mu website is required to run higher than php5.5 however Hostgator are still on 5.4. IPS team member suggested to move to another host since there are risks involved. Slack off their are for not upgrading Php

Upgrade to 5/5. Yet rather what higher but they don't have a estimate time when they will do it in future

Do HostGator not use CloudLinux so you can select the php version yourself? I highly recommend Crocweb, have had no issues with them since signing up or check out the hosts recommended on WebHostingTalk as they're usually pretty good. 🙂

I've used Hostgator before and their support is just awful. I opened up a support ticket and got no reply for a few days, so I started the live chat. Took quite a long time before I got a hold of someone, and I got transferred from department to department. It was such a hassle to get an answer for something relatively simple. I was very displeased with the customer service they offered.

If you need PHP 5.5, there are many reliable hosts that can accommodate your site's requirements.

Yeah, there support is god damn bad alright, other then that there system are good
