Before I talk about my views on Islam I'd like to ask why you converted, what is it exactly you agree with within Islam? I'm agnostic personally, whilst I don't rule out the possibility of a divine being existing I feel that religion as an institution has brought a lot of harm to the world. All religions are guilty of this. My unique problem to Islam is that it is perfectly fine to heavily criticise Christianity but not okay to criticise Islam as that's Islamaphobic.
Don't worry, I'm not critical of Christianity. It's not for any reason of that sort.
As for why I converted, I had been very interested in it for years and started to feel a certain connection to something. When I finally started to look into things, I felt like this was a sign of some sort. I had a calling to become part of what I belong to. When I was a Christian, I didn't feel a very strong connection, but as a Muslim, I feel a stronger connection to God.
As for what I agree with? I guess it's very similar to how people feel with Christianity: be generous and kind. While sure, there have been extremist Muslims, much of the population are not like that, and I don't want to be one of them. I love all, and even though I believe differently, I will treat you as my brother or sister.
