Well, do you daily practice such a diet or not? I've read it online somewhere that pet owners now force it on their pets because they are on X diet themselves. It's horrible abuse to their pets impo. Myself, I've always been fit and proportional because I exercise a great deal and do yoga daily. And have never personally required any diets to stay fit.

I see people condemn vegans who live almost entirely off of cheetos and skittles. Veganism won't kill you, so I don't see a problem with it.

I have to agree with you @Naiwen. If a human chooses to go vegan, they should not force their pet to be one.
I've dabbled in vegetarianism leaning towards veganism. I eat organic, local meat from time to time but I prefer my nice, big salad lol
I focus on Real Food. Organic, not lab-made. That is where people get their nutrients & health from.

A vegan diet isn't for me, but if someone wishes to go vegan that's fine! I just like meat too much and dairy products. I've heard keto is great for those wanting to lose weight, and it works well.

I don't like hurting animals. I know I might sound like a wuss, lol, especially from the part of the country I'm from. Anyway, even in the Bible it recommends merciful methods of slaughter.

However, though, bottom line is I'm a hypocrite because I eat meat and well, I have to admit that hunters are far more humane than what you see in commercial farming.

I appreciate the original ideology of Veganism, where it was about doing As Much As One Healthily Can to reduce animal suffering by human consumption. This involved accepting the fact many disabled people can never live without animal products, and other facts such as "Few synthetic fabrics are as accessible or as good as warming humans near the arctic as Fur is, meaning indigenous people need them."
I have ARFID, which is a disorder that makes the amount of food Im able to consume pitifully little. If I removed animal products, even to be vegetarian, I could likely starve to death from lack of nutrients! I'm just not willing to do that to myself. But obviously, animal farming needs a massive overhaul, as does plant agriculture.

I've been a strict vegan for around 18 months entirely for health reasons. While I despise cruelty of any kind I'm not particularly an animal lover. I found out after 60 years that I'm lactose intolerant plus cutting out animal products cured another life long digestive issue.

I rather despair of vegans who picket meat counters and worse, I've personally not had the urge to run around with a 'meat is murder' placard and I still wear leather!

I don't mind if people chose this diet as long as they don't go to protest against meat eaters. Live your life as you want and let me live mine.

Whatever floats your boat! Cutting down on meat is both good for the body and the planet, so vegans have earned my respect 🙂
