The logo is awesome to me. Quiet that sinister look that most horror stories eager to have for a good cover.

The reflection isn't bad, would just need it to be moved to directly below the text instead of a good 75+ pixels below.

Otherwise it looks good, would go with no reflection overall because of how simplistic the blog style/theme is.

In my honest opinion. I like your banner. Its better than what most people have up on forums. Personally, I like the reflection and in most cases when I had some practice with photoshop. I felt the reflections in banners or pictures added a bite more spice! 😀

I like it, though I do agree the mirror is eh. It takes away space on your site so the logo isn't really centered. Other than that I like it. 😀

I like the banner, overall. I was thinking the blood will probably fit the "horror story" (in this case the 'AHS' part) better than fans, but at least you've incorporated horror element into the banner. Nice job! 🙂

Because AHS is in the American Horror Story font, while Fans is in another.

The font of 'fans' looks like a graffiti style font, which is fine, but it seems out of place with the blood effects. It ends up looking more like a spray painted effect.

Everyone seems to be saying something about the mirror, so I guess I will say something... The mirror effect itself I think is fine, it's just really far apart.

I've completely updated the header with a logo that isn't mirrored to make more of an effect on the header BG.
