How do you react to threads that go against your beliefs (political, social issues, religious, etc) on your forum that aren't against your rules? Do you let it go? Do you make a new rule against it? Do you let your members handle it?

Ignore it of course, I’m running a community, not a dictatorship.

I don't think that you are supposed to respond to every thread that is created in your community. When it's something that is against your belief, you can simply ignore it because your belief is totally different from what other people believe in and you cannot ask people not to believe in what they are interested in or stop talking about it.

I end up just not even reading it and move on 😉 I mean as long as it's on topic and not exploding into something that shouldn't then all good.

I don't mind them and I may not personally take part in the discussions but that's the beauty of having staff as there will always be someone who can keep an eye on them to make sure they don't get out of hand.
