Thrift Shop Finds

I figured it would be good to have a topic where people can share their awesome purchases at things like thrift shops, yard sales, pawn shops, flea markets, Goodwill, etc. If you found a once in a life time deal, you should definitely share it.

I went to Goodwill today and I bought two brand new Kiwitata (basically generic) Nintendo 64 USB controllers. I paid $2.99 each for them. They were randomly sitting in the toy section on top of a bunch of board games.

Don't be afraid to share your stories, photos, etc.

Unfortunately, I'm not a big thrift guy. Basically, at the most my finds are t-shirts for 50 cents each and academic books, usually math related, for around the same. Anyway, though, those finds save me a ton of money!

My finds are usually clothes and sometimes games. Haven't been there in a while though, I'm not sure where my closest one is.
