People are asking how to stop school shootings and one way is to close public schools. I mean, that isn't a half-bad idea since public schools are starting to indoctrinate children with progressive liberal ideas and telling parents they don't know what's best for their own children. They received millions in Covid relief money and haven't used it all.

Should we end public schooling since in the US students aren't doing as well anymore anyway?

Why wouldn't nutjobs go into private schools?

Anyway, a lot of people can't afford private schools, so unless some people decide to market to the poor, which by the way, could be some "inferior quality" school, how wouldn't a lot of people be left out of education?

There's an obvious common denominator here. The perpetrators in school shootings are all male and of a very specific age group. If deescalation (gun control) is not an option I would take a long hard look at the similarities involved and try and gain some insight into why these young men do what they do.

Nothing that's been done so far has prevented these atrocities from reoccurring, quite the opposite in fact but something needs to be done to at the very least put the brakes on what is clearly an escalating situation.

School shootings are a modern phenomenon, US gun ownership is not, so what has changed?

It seems right after the lock downs ended public school teachers were wanting children to stay at home and do online classes. I think there might be a solution there.

What has to be done is make the schools like airports. There just isn't any other choice.
