So, I'm 27 years old who does not drive, in fact, that I do not even have my licence. As of today, I requested UK provisional licence application form to be sent to me, rather than doing it online I thought I have it on paper so I can easily take my time filling out the information then maybe sent it through my local posts.

I do have family that they can teach me, even that I think I will be good at it 🙂 Just the theory that I always hate and bad at. Yes, I been delaying for most of my life and well, I see it being pointless but now I see that other family members are getting older and one day they will stop driving and also when it comes to my day to day work and dreams, I have to get around and dreams can't come true if I can't get around to get to locations.

So maybe 2021 is the year that I start driving. How many of you did not get to have your licence till later in life? At times feel left out that I'm 27 years old and not driving and seeing people at 17 years old are driving. Hell, most jobs I want are 2 hours away in York.

I was probably 21 when I got my license! My dad wouldn't let me!! He was always telling me and my sister we were never moving out of the house LOL Okay, so I had very overprotective parents and had to sneak around to learn how to drive with friends teaching me.

The thing is that you have to let the ego go and people aren't going to judge you concerning not having a license. In some areas there is no real need for a license if there is a lot of public transportation.

I started driving around 13 on construction jobs sites got my license was I was 16 and half.

My mother started teaching me how to drive when I was 16 years old. I flunked my written Permit test 5 different times before I passed it. I passed the drivers test the first time though. The Sheriff that drove in the passenger seat was really nice and passed me. So I got my license when I was 18. I recently went over to the license office and upgraded it so I can take my vacation on May the 24th to go to Las Vegas with my girlfriend and her parents. It's taken me months to get it because I lost my Social Security card and I had to make an account online and apply for one, seeing as their office is still closed due to Covid. So glad I was able to finally get that done.

Till you go into the pub and they ask you our ID if they think that you look to young and you have no ID to prove 😛

Aww, baby face! I had one of those until I reached 40. But I didn't drink so it didn't matter to me 😀

Me too. I hate the very existence of alcohol and liquor.

My friends hate that I don't drink but enjoy the fact that they have a designated driver whenever I'm around 😀

Same, Cider in once a blue moon, thinking about it. been 8 months since I had my last cider.

license when I was 18
Can be good to get to have more experiences then again you would not have a job there you are now.

I was 54 when I passed my driving test. I learned because my mum was really sick and was spending a fortune on transport for hospital appointments. I passed my theory test first time but my practical on my 5th attempt! I never really liked driving. I have a horrible sense of direction and only drive when I absolutely have to.

I don't think it's very fun to babysit a drunk unless they're passed out. Some people can be pretty loud, obnoxious, and interruptive when they've had too much to drink. I like to stay away from that kind of thing.

The sad thing is that our group of friends are all drinkers and their idea of fun is sitting at a bar 🙁 Get togethers are usually bar related which is sad.
