My name is Patrick, and I go by the nickname, jovocop. I'm a 36 year old man from Quebec, Canada. I've been interested in Solid State Drive technology for a little over a year, and purchased my first drive a couple of months ago.
Not having a decent source for SSD information, I ended up purchasing the Intel X18-M from the 50nm product line (First Generation), which has no TRIM Support or Wiper tool. That said, I was happy to join my good friend NatureCannon and open up a Solid State Drive forum, so others don't end up purchasing an SSD, without having all the facts.
Although I'm very satisfied with the speed my Drive currently gives me, I am a little concerned that said speed will not hold up in the long run. I've already started shopping for a new one, and this time I'll be a lot better inform, as I hope you all will be too.
Regards,
jovo
Ps: I think this site is kinda cool - thanks for the free advertising :great:
