Iceland is at a unique crossroads. Because of an economic meltdown in the banking sector, a deep sense is among the nation that a fundamental change is needed in order to prevent such events from taking place again. At such times it is important to seek a collective future vision and take a course that will bring the nation and the parliament closer together.

The plan:
Make a country with 100% freedom of speech, total privacy when it comes to the people who give information, and laws that prevent other nations from doing anything about it.

Background information on Iceland:
Iceland is a great place to run large internet sites. It has cheap 100% green power, natural cooling, plenty of bandwidth and is close to both Europe and the east cost of the United States. It is within the Eupean Economic Area and the Schengen zone, has a educated young workforce and a 15% company tax.

So the question remains, do you think it would be a good thing to have a country with complete freedom of speech or is too much information can be a negative thing?

Oh that will go over well.

Doesn't sound bad at all. World Factbook says Iceland's a Constitutional Republic, which isn't bad. Would have to research more of their political system though.
Sounds like the economic system there is similar to an Anarcho-capitalist, which I fully support.

I'm a bit in the middle I must admit, I'm not sure if it would be a bad or a good thing. I think it could depend on should it get exploited or if people start complaining or such. Hmm, shall have to look into this further. Thanks for the read Leo 🙂
