Tire Service Monitor System Light on SUV

My Chevy Equinox has the Tire Service Monitor System light on and I filled all the tires with the appropriate amount of air, drove around, turned off the vehicle, opened the door, turned the vehicle back on and the light won't go off.

Anyone else have this happen to their vehicle? Was it an expensive repair? I'm taking it in to the dealership on Friday.

I would take it to have it serviced. It means your tire sensor might have gone bad.

The sensor needed to be replaced. It was less than I thought and if I remember correctly it was about $130.
