First of all, good luck with your blog, it has lovely design. I would like to bring to your attention that you've made a mistake when hyper-linking the banner in this post. Anyway I like the simple logo, it looks great. However I would suggest adding something to dark to your site to stop it been to bright.

I think he wanted to "get in" some posts before he advertised his forum.
