To drive or not to drive?

I drive everyday, to and from work and errands. I enjoy driving, It's better than walking or catching a bus.

Been driving for about 12 years now.

You'll be nervous at first, but once you get on the highway, you'll prefer to use the highways. Especially once you learn your way around. I remember when I first started driving, I would use only 1 highway that I knew my way around and slowly progressed to other useful highways.

Eh yeah that's a good point lol I'll just have to see in the future right now XD If I'll be "man" enough to drive.

Where I'm from, you need a car to get to where you need to go to.

Pretty much this. I'm from a small town, there is no public transit here.

I like driving in my hometown, but I hate driving in big cities that I'm not familiar with.

Ditto to the big city driving.

I live in a rural area. I have no choice but to drive. Public transportation doesn't really exist unless you want to call a cab from a larger community and pay a lot of money to get somewhere.

I'm a road cyclist. I love road biking, it is great exercise and I can easily ride to locations I want to visit but doing it as a main form of transportation in my area isn't applicable. My area is rural and poorly managed, the cycling infrastructure needed does not exist.

I am forced to drive. We also get bad winters so I am forced to have a 4x4 as well. I pay more in gas but I can safely travel as well.

I love driving, that's all I seem to do, although I do own a fun car so maybe that's why

I prefer to drive. There's not a lot of public transportation near me anyway.

I take the bus whenever I can or walk to the library. Driving is kinda stressful to me.

I prefer to be the driver - unless on a night out then someone else can drive so I can drink 😉 (but I do take my turn)

Hah @sarah I agree everyone gets mad haha. @Fiona1964 , I agree with the walking but public transportation bleh. Never know what happened or what is going on on a public bus xD

I love driving. It is stressful, but it's pretty fun to me. 😛

My dad taught me to drive on my own when I was about 7, so I suppose that early start helped, because I love driving and do frequent road trips. I can't stand public transportation. =|

I can't get my driver's license yet, but I don't want to. Just thinking about driving makes my palms sweat.

I like driving, mainly just because it's really nice not to have to always depend on other people to get places. I didn't get my license until after high school, and I always remember that it was really annoying to have to either call my parents for a ride when I was out, or hope that a friend was leaving at the same time as me. It's definitely nice being able to drive places, and just leave whenever you want.

I don't always have to drive, but often find myself the one doing it. Especially now that I have a big van with my custom built 4000w RMS sound system in it
