I have been watching the news and I noticed the extreme cold weather in the US and some parts of Europe. There was the photo of a frozen Niagara Falls. For our part, Asia is besieged with storms and typhoons. I think there were 5 storms from December up to January. Yeah, our January here is also colder than last year's. I guess this is the result of climate change or maybe global warming that the polar ice has melted and is coming back to us in terms of snow and ice and rain?

Well here in the Northeast where I currently am, it's thawed out a bit. Temp has gone up to over 40 degrees. But we've yet to get that "major" winter snowstorm we usually get. We've had 1 "modest" one but I am sure before the winter is out, we will get a nor'easter.

Tropical places like where @Corzhens can actually get cold. Of course, I don't think it would ever snow, though.

This year has been very cold, more then last year. It's bad this year. In the location that i'm in we had snow as from last year there was no snow.

Yes again the other side of the earth! had very bad temperatures heat wave

Snow has missed Tennessee going to the east coast and gulf coast. We got maybe 1 inch all this year.

Temperatures here are a little weird. We have been having both warm and cold temperatures.

Too cold? Well in New Zealand it's the hottest Summer for so many years. LOL
