Top 5 things to keep in mind when promoting yoursite!

1. First things first, read Top 5 things to get you started. If you haven't already.
2. When posting a promotion thread for your site, be sure that the thread has ALOT of content. E.g. Tell us about your site, why you created it and how it would benefit for members. Also add images!
3. Make sure everything works before sharing, if you have a broken links or errors it can give a bad impression.
4. Have a plan! we should be able to ask you what you want to do in the next 5 years with your site.
5. Before posting a promotion thread, make sure you have all your forum sections filled with content. People don't like empty forums, so fill them!
6. (Because why the heck not?) engage in conversations with potential members! Create a conversation with other members and be like 'come join ma site yo'.

I'll be improving these points when I get back to a computer 🙂
