Top Hat Forums

I like the theme that you are using.

Only thing is, i'd add (if you can) what's called a "tag line" to let users who visit know what your forum is about.

A "tag line" would be placed in the header area of your page.

For example like on my blog it's the site name: Andy's Surviving
and then underneath I have the tag line which says: Read How I'm Overcoming Mental Illness.

It helps the visitor know what the forum is about.

The activity looks ok to me, since I've seen that the last post was made today, but there still are some empty forums. If theres a way that you can fill some of them, it would help a little to help spark some more discussion.

That's the most I can think of for right now. I hope this helps and good luck with your forum.

Andy.

I would think you want to make you site stand out. A little color could be helpful. Everyone seem to be doing the dark theme look, but honestly I find most major communities do not use them. Out of the 19 themes I have on my community, the dark themes get less use.

You may not want so many ads on your home page, but rather put them on your forum where others will see them and click them. Most do not stick around on your cover page and if they do click them there, they're most likely to leave.

No, try refreshing the page.
Our host is having server problems.
The forum is fine at the moment.
It might be your browser.

I'm not a big fan of that theme. And I'd suggest you change some of the default-looking icons.

The .info extension needs to go, that's for sure.
The homepage of the site is very bland so I would add some graphics and or colours.
The forum is the same way. Too bland.
The logo is very plain and simple. I would make it look a bit more web 2.0 or professional.
The banner in the footer is unaligned so I'd fix that right away.
