Topic Descriptions

Do you let your users add a description to their topics? I have seen this on a few forums but personally I am not a huge fan of it since the title often says it all

I try and make them feel free to do things 🙂 and yes--ish

I use to have that plugin on my forum, but removed it as it wasn't seeing much use. I think that descriptions can work two ways- either they give away too much info causing a member/guest to not read the actual topic, or people who are unsure about a broad thread title now have their interest piqued and end up reading the topic.
