Eighteen years? That's remarkable. How have you managed to stay dedicated to this project all this time?

Also, do you promote your forum on ProBoards Support? I've been frequenting ProBoards forums for over a decade, and I've never heard of this place. It looks great!

It'll be 18 at the end of August this year. We've had our fair shares in ups and downs in terms of quiet periods, especially after 2016, we actually closed for one whole year but the following year I personally missed the community and couldn't let it go. There was a point however when it was almost so. All I can do is what I'm doing keep promoting, keep adding content for those who can come on when they can whilst trying to attract new blood!

At the moment I believe I am still on the second page of the "Fan forums" sub forum of Advertise your site at PB but that is all. Which is what prompted me to bump up my old topic here. I don't really feel like I need to "Get an opinion about my board" at PB after all these years and it would seem like a cheap trick to get views. There are some that have "years long" threads in GOAYB that I feel don't actually really want an opinion and are just fishing for views, and that's not how I operate. I know google algorithms have changed, that's hurt us for Google, but short of paid advertising it's not easy, and I can afford to do that.

I've been making boards since 2002, and it's always been for fun never profit.

I'm not sure if it's tone or you're trying to infer something, but I am always adding content, looking for new news stories related to my forum's theme or am coming up with new thread ideas for my community.

All weekend we've been using our double use Independence day/Memorial day theme as our main to show respect to those in the USA that lost loved ones to past conflicts and the men and woman serving their country.

With the anniversary looming next month we're bring back something special, a freeplay forum..With one GM retiring a few years ago, we haven't had any roleplay in a long time and no other GMs, and it feels like something has been missing for a few years since we stopped. Now however we are getting back in the game!
This one is a continually running saga starting (Either beginning or end of August) with a "Transformers does Star Trek: The Next Generation" style fun adventures named TTF: Equinox.
