Have you used traffic exchange programs before (i.e https://hitleap.com)? What were the results like for you?
I don't use automated services, like Hitleap, because the traffic is low quality and from bots. There's no real conversion either.

I've been using Addmefast for 3 months and i think it's quite effective to increase social networks traffic, but with website, it's automatic so the quality is low.

If you want to promote free services,Earn money methods..etc easyhits4u.com is the best option.

I've never tried it for the reason that Cierra just mentioned. I wasn't sure that they would be quality enough to even worry about.

Never tried them, there are better methods for legitimate traffic and promotion.

I think we can get some visitors via traffic exchange system. Traffic exchange system also can help us to get rank. But I think that it will not much helpful for a community forum. Because you will not get any active members or interested visitors via traffic exchange system. So, I will recommend you no to use traffic exchange systems.

I only use those services to promote my social network pages for my website rather than trying to just promote my website in itself. I find that there is a bigger presence when it comes to getting more likes, follows, etc. than just having someone open the page (mostly bots) and then move on to the next. Plus with most they leave a meta tag which will hurt your adsense income since they will see the traffic is being automated from the same website and remove money (or even issue a warning) about doing the traffic exchange.

I have had a bad experienece with Hitleap so I personally am not a huge fan of such services.

You don't use traffic exchanges for conversion. There is none. You use them to increase your Alexa ranking and to trick advertisers into paying higher prices for your advertisements. This is a 'grey hat' method and is frowned upon but not illegal.

Nope, I don't use them. There is a little benefit for your site for the cost or time you have to put into them.
