All I need are these two board icons I am working on to be transparent, I didn't know they weren't until after i cropped, resized, and change the colors. I just don't know how to make backgrounds transparent ๐
Please, note, the little glow behind the smash ball image also needs to stay intact. Just all the white in the background needs to be transparent.
I'm in no hurry, bud. Take your time. And if you don't need the FP Cash, I'll make some post on a forum, or something. Like I said, no rush. Just been using the same icons for over a year now ๐ .... time for some kinda change ๐
And, as long as you can get the big image transparent, I can do the cropping and resizing, myself. ๐ I actually have measurements writtne out from working on them so they would fit perfect in my board icon box ๐
Yeah, i see what you mean dotD. I was kinda "hoping that the glows would blend in the background. Not that I see it done, and you did great, it's just not what i was expecting, and not your fault. I'm pretty comnvinced it can't be done to my expectations. For now I'll just use the other 2 images i posted.
I'll still +rep if that's cool.
Thanx for your time, bud. Like i said, it's not that I didn't like them, just my request does seem unrealistic, now that i see what you mean from your original reply.
I can do this, and it's a pretty easy edit for me.
iPhoto and Adobe Photoshop should do the job.
If you're interested, let me know.
(Note: I will have to use the larger images, but if you give me the dimensions, I can re-size them before I save the final files.)
If you can just get the big image ttransparent, I can handle the rest, the dimension i need required cropping at certain key points on the inage, then resizing after the crop. So i can handle that.
I just need the large image transparent. And, I got you PM a bit ago. It's 5AM here ๐ but I'll try and reply to it tomorrow afternoon ๐
Ouch. OK, the original image you posted is a JPG and using the "sample & replace" trick in PS isn't working too well. I can take dotDavid's PNG and edit it to get the white off, but it gets grainy and loses some of the colors from even the version that dotDavid posted.
I will post my results, but I can't expect much.
You have made this into something I officially hate. ๐
But, honestly, it's not really that big of deal, bud. I though it would be a simple transparent job ๐
I really had no idea.
Please, don't worry about troubling yourself. I really hate asking others to work harder than they should, and if the end result isn't what i expected, I feel terrible for not using after the hard they put into it ๐
