Trashcan

I have one that I allow user's to view but any un-needed topics get removed. 😛
 
no with ours it's solely staff that can view it. Makes thinks simpler in our view 😀
 
I have one at my forum but...I don't really call it as a trashcan; I just create a board (hidden from guest and members) and in there store old or unusable topics; for references or just to look back at the memories since my forum is a role playing forum.
 
Yep. I have 2 of them. one for old RSS feeds and one for actual posts.. but because I find myself trashing the empty RSS feeds more than actual posts, I have to remember to split the posts I want to remove from a topic, and then move them to the trashcan forum I created, while the REAL trash can (the one that is actually a feature) handles the RSS feeds I've deleted.
 
All forums that I have been on have had 1 or 2 trash cans. Either hidden or seen by the public eye.

In my opinion they should be hidden. Just to hide cover ups of spam and all that. Makes for a cleaner forum.
 
I don't have one on mine, because I think just keeping unwanted topics and posts is a waste of space. Deleting them is better if you ask me.
 
Yes we have one..for threads/posts that are uneeded spam posts and threads...😛
 
I got one In my clan site Officers and above are admins so its called Junk Post under Officers club. In Mikes World We have a section called moderators wich has 3 sections Mod responsibilities its a thread that has all duties for all staff positions. MOd Talk And Junk post.
 
I do. Only staff can see it, but it hardly gets used so I'm considering removing it.
 
I don't have one at The Hub but the forum is moderated so all posts/topics are checked first for spam and other things. I'm also creating a archive for old topics so people can read what other's have written. 🙂
 
I don't have one yet, but I'm thinking of putting one in that only anyone can view, and I'm thinking of making a seperate one for staff only that'll be mostly spam posts and stuff like that. The public one will mostly be like old intros, old announcements, that kind of thing.
 
We have 2 hidden ones , One for the admins (when the admin forum gets cleaned out , and so the mods don't see what we have been talking about if we put it all in just one) and we just have another for all the staff to see what we put useless and spam topics in.
