How do you feel on the matter?

I think we need to save the trees but wait on the automobiles that plug in simply because the biggest source of polution is coal (factories). Cars are the minimum air polluter.

I do not much care for the enviroment around us, as really, we need to survive, even if it means taking out a few ponds in the process.

I think they are great. It saddens me that all of these trees, animal habitats, creeks, reserves etc are being taken down for new houses.

I don't think they should be developing in such large amounts, a few houses here and there would be fine.

I cannot bathe you in a river gone black
I cannot hold you in a poison rain
If I can't see you through the air that we breathe
What will love in the future be?
I wanna watch my children laugh as they run
I wanna hold their children on my knee
And tell them stories of a vanishing sun
Of how it used to be

In my lover's life I want to share
I want to see the world now through her eyes
And about everything she sees, I care
The time has come to rise

I cannot bathe you in a river gone black
I cannot hold you in a poison rain
If I can't see you through the air that we breathe
What will love in the future be?
Will we make it a different story?
Is there love in the future for you and me?

We're looking for answers in outer space
When will we discover the earth is a sacred place?

First of all!

Second of all!

ok, fine, I'll put something usefull in this thread, lol

For those who the following pertains to, keep this in mind...

1. Can you verify 'climate data' someone else 'records' - ?
2. Do you know everything?
3. "Every" thing in this world is biased one way or another, even my opinion is biased, lol
4. Is this the "Change" you were expecting recently?

:great:

Well I do think we need to save the trees as they are our man source of oxygen and forests being torn down has sent animals into streets and other areas getting kill.

I know cause the city I live in there has been possums and turtels going into the road and being killed.

You don't have to confirm records, just look at what's going on already, it's already starting to impact us...

Don't give me that "Global Warming/Climate Change" crap, with out backing it up somehow with more than two biased websites.

Eventually, earth will warm up, due to the expanding outer layers of our suns atmosphere many billions of years from now.

Politicians aren't scientists. They only speak to boost their own ego's and increase their vote numbers and percentages in polls.

Isn't ironic that the east coast (d.c., n.y., etc...) recieved record breaking snowfall and temperature decreases after the Copenhagen crap meeting that went on this past week...

"We," 'arizona' just had record breaking lows this month and all across the u.s.

I say it how it is!

Don't proclaim something without backing it up with at least your own opinion, let alone actual facts that are not some elses "opinionate/twisted interpretations" of said facts.

Our atmosphere is the greatest source of O2. 32% or some outragous number of the atmosphere is Oxygen.

I care enough about the environment to say don't put enriched Uranium in landfills, but I don't need to hear this bullshit about "global warming." If I wanted to hear that I'd listen to an Al Gore speech.

Nobodys talking about global warming when the temperature barely hits 90 in the summer, yet people go out of their way to buy all this "green" crap. It's all a marketing scam.

I don't think the environment is in as much danger as it's commonly made out to be and that it will cause some doomsday scenario. Global warming, for example, has a lot of holes in it for it to be taken seriously in my opinion.

Now, I do have concern about the environment and favor clean solutions for various things as much as the next person does. I still say that whenever we chop down a tree a new one needs to be planted, that recycling should be an automatically done thing, and try to conserve resources as best you can.

There are plenty of examples on those sites that link to other sources who state facts but aren't passionate about the environment.

passionate =/= biased either.

Also, what does the WWF have to gain by lying? It has enough trouble keeping things under control without global warming. It's not like the people at WWF are getting rich of of this.

Global warming actually has a cooling effect during one of the beginning stages, we are in that stage now.

With the ice caps melting, that water (very cold water) has to go somewhere.... it's water cooling.

It's not just politicians, in fact, Scientists have been saying this much longer.

It's not a scam, it's a serious threat that needs to be dealt with.

Oh, in that case...

I agree, there are some out there that are truly green, but you have to be careful because so many of them really aren't.

It's like companies telling you something good for you because it now has less calories, well how many were calories from fat? what preservatives are in there? How bad for you was it previously. Not as bad can still be bad.

And then you have people saying that but not doing anything but raising the price.

It's a shame to be cause so many things that are over packaged, if not over packaged... would save the company money.

Well it is true that the world is heating up,but it is not the first time. It has been proven that it is a natural happening.

What I hate is people are trying to gain control with the global warming theory.

Oh and just to throw some icing on the cake can someone explain how global warming is making it over half of the us get 10 degrees below the average of this time of year.

The way I see it, by the time we completely destroy the environment, we will have sufficient technology to either reverse the effects, or move to a planet that can support us.

Hell we could just make another planet by then.
