I really like the site but I think you'd do better with Wordpress with what you're trying to acomplish. Since it appears you're trying to make an article-news site, Wordpress is built for this.

If you need help, I'm an expert at Wordpress. 🙂

No thanks. Thanks for your feedback btw.

The site looks incomplete so this is just a brief opinion on what I think:

Starting with the layout of the site, I really like the structure in terms of categorical organisation and sizing. The box on the left clearly displays the catergory of article and also the overall number of topics and views within that catergory, I also like the last active string which let's you see which area was most recently updated.

A thing I like about the sites usability is that you can signin with both Facebook or your own Trending Articles account, though this could be upgraded further with more social media logins such as Google and Twitter which are the other two big uses; In terms of social media, you could also make it easier to share your articles on various platforms to make it simplier to make articles trending.

The colour scheme matches the site well, I like the purply-blue gradient displayed at various points around the site, it ties in with the white background giving a complementing and sleek colour-scheme. I feel the weight of the colour could be ehanced around the catergories however.

For the articles, I like that not only are similar articles displayed, you also have a nice list of comments and likes from people who have reacted to the content, to make it stand out more, I suggest you maybe give it a slightly darker shade them then the other field.

Hope this helps a bit 🙂 I like the simplicity of the software you're using joined with the colour scheme your onto a winner if you can promote it and get those comments flowing and those social shares going 🙂 Good luck with Trending Articles 🙂

Design of your site doesn't appeal to me, doesn't give me anything to look at and get me to click through to read.

Home page doesn't show any actual content to read - just links to your page/feeds and your logo. Show some recent posts and let visitors know what you have for them right away.

Personally I think your "top trends" page could be your home page. You don't need your current home page at all.

For the rest of your pages, instead of just posting "Link:" and the link to another news site, post the headline like you do on the top trends page and maybe even a short blurb on what the topic is about.

Finally, on your domain, get a top level (.com, .net, etc.) please. It gives you so much more credibility and that along with a better design will enhance your site a lot.
