TRICKY TREASURE is a movie that brings you an exciting treasure hunting adventure!
An English chick, Victoria, inherits a treasure map from her great grandfather who used to be a buccaneer. As buccaneers do, her great grandfather buried a treasure, somewhere in Africa. Not that he was much of a pirate who liked to steal and plunder, but he did have his life savings to put away safely into the ground.
The treasure map leading to these buried riches was passed down until it reached Victoria's mother, who passed it down to Victoria. And, Victoria believing she's going to be the first to find that legendary treasure, decides to make the trip to Africa to go and get it.
The land the treasure is supposedly buried on, seems to be on the property of Brian, a young gadget inventor who lives with Woefkardoes, his best furry friend. Brian is hard at work trying to perfect his latest invention, "Mr. Lightning", a device that can shoot an electric bolt at an enemy. Good for security companies and those looking to light a fire.
However, one of the devices keeps malfunctioning. Is something not isolated? Electricity can be so complicated and dangerous.
Whilst taking a break from his work, Brian and Woefkardoes spots something coming up the hill. Before it reaches them however, it collapses.
On closer inspection, Brian notices that it's a woman. It's Victoria in fact. She made it! She finally made it to Africa.
Victoria is a strange youngen, imagining herself her great grandfather in her head as a cartoon character, so that she doesn't feel all alone on her treasure hunting mission. This cartoon version of her great grandfather, or "Grandpa" as she calls him for short, becomes her imaginary guide to help her work out the mystery that is this eluding treasure's location.
Things aren't just all smooth running though - it turns out Grandpa used to have a friend called Klaas, who had helped him bury the treasure so many years ago. And Klaas also had a backup map leading to the treasure, and this map was also passed down generations where it landed in the hands of Jack and Julie, two rival treasure hunters who also decided now would be a good time to dig up that treasure.
These two new rivals aren't your model citizens, and they don't mind playing dirty to make sure they are the first to get to the treasure. Setting traps for Brian and Victoria's treasure hunting team, stealing their map with the help of Chief Malmane, a guy who imagines himself to be a great African chief sitting by the African fire, and corrupting the clues leading to the treasure, Jack and Julie do all they can to make sure they eliminate the competition.
The stakes are high, the competition is fierce, and time is running out as the two teams have to race against time and each other to get their hands on what they imagine to be unimaginable riches beyond their wildest dreams!
