A sequel to the 1982 Disney sci-fi film Tron, that pioneered CGI animation.

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges, returning from the original), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), Sam and Kevin embark on a life-and-death journey across that black cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

I'm a HUGE fan of the original, and wasn't as excited for this until Jeff Bridges popped in towards the end of the trailer. Looks pretty amazing and with Disney footing the bill, going to be on hell of a production budget.

HUGE fan of the original as well, and obscenely excited that they got Jeff Bridges to come play the role of Flynn again. I also like that it's a continuation and not a remake. I thought Tron had amazing graphics for it's time, and I think the same will be said of this film. Can't wait to see it in 3D.

I'm going to have a Tron marathon one of these days. Buy both the original, then the remake, and compare them. I'm not ready to see this one before the original. The little I have seen from clips, however, have made me very interested in the series.

I cannot wait for this. It looks so epic, and the music is supposed to be done by Daft Punk, who are one of my favorite bands ever.

The old movies was OK from what I can recall of it. I'm looking forward to seeing this new modern continued story. Will need to rent the classic before seeing this first though

Saw the 3D version this evening and it's amazing! I loved it. Jeff Bridges did two amazing characters. Good movie! 5/5.

I just saw it Thursday, I believe it was. I really enjoyed it and I think it turned out really well. I don't know why they made it in 3D since most of it was filmed in 2D, but still a great movie.

I watched Tron in 3D and it was great! The 3D could have been a bit better though.
