This is a pretty damn good show. My wife loves vampires everything to do with them but when we found this show I was greatly surprised. Anyone else?

I was very hyped to watch the show, but, I made it through the first 3 episodes, and just wasn't really thrilled. I guess maybe i shoulda watched more; but it was just a very SLOW progressing show, to me.

Its one of those shows that you really do need to read the books before watching. The books explain a lot that the show leaves you questioning.
That is why I havent watched it much yet. I saw the first episode and part of the second and I was lost.
