Ohh, The life of building 🙂 That's an very very good build and I like the knife in the secound to last image 🙂

By the way building it on the bed wasn't an very good idea, should done it on an flat floor. Also http://pcpartpicker.com/ add your build to the list 🙂

I didn't have an alternative available, and no issues resulted.

I see no issue with what he did. As long as he kept the mobo on the box when he was prepping everything, it's fine. Relative humidity would have been the biggest factor of preventing ESD without a wrist strap or mat.

I live in the mountains, so humidity is unfortunately very low. I was grounded for the duration of the build, and stood on a big piece of cardboad to avoid the cartpet lol
