Sometimes a single reply is so detailed it could be its own topic. Has anyone experimented with spinning top replies into new threads or knowledge-base articles? If you did, did it help the forum gain more organic visibility?

If the replies go off topic to a point to where they become their own topic, I will split them into two topics.
Otherwise, I let all replies stay on a topic as long as everyone is happy with the outcome.
I do, however, get new thread ideas from replies. Replies are a great source of getting new ideas for forum threads.
