In this tutorial I will tell you how to advertise your website on facebook and get more visitors to your website.
Start with Step 1 if you dont have facebook, if you do skip to Step 2.
Step 1: Creation
Creating facebook is easy as 123, the main thing about creating a profile on facebook is that you dont want to make a blank account and expect people to accept your friend requests and get your website easily marketed. You have to create it as personalized as you can. Like any other add favorite hobbies, your picture(s) and etc..
Step 2: Friends
Your goal on facebook is getting as many friends as possible. You have to get as many friends as you can ranging from your family to someone you met once in your lifetime when you were 2 years old, to someone on your msn list, all the way to people who you dont even know. Facebook provides tools to help you connect with friends through your email and etc..
Step 3: Marketing
What you want to do is just post what you are doing interesting stuff, posting on your friends walls and them posting back and etc.. You gotta be active. Once you start getting daily comments on your wall your set to go. You are ready to post a link to your website. Say "Wow, just found cool website, http://yourwebsite.com was amazed when I saw it" or something like that. Of course people will eventually find out its your website so thats where we go for next step.
Step 4. Announcements
Still keep active on facebook, but every time you have an event you announce it, like when you are giving away freebies, or having contests that you award the winner or anything like that. You have to announce it.
Step 5. Group
Once you got people on facebook as members of your website, create a group, where existing members can become fans of your website, and where new comers can see group events on there and join your website as well.
