Analysis:

Strengths:

1. "Resources":
   While your forum may not have an overabundance of them, I think your resource section is actually quite strong. I like the way it was tied into the menu navigation. It has a very professional layout and is easy to browse. I really don't have too much more to say regarding this, so I am going to move on. Nice work here!
2. Home Page Blog
   I really like the current layout of the homepage, it reminds me of a blog. However, I am going to suggest that you turn it into a blog with unique content instead of having your most recent posts there. If this was a home page to a website I have never visited, the majority of this page is wasted because a very large portion feels irrelevant to me. While this page has a lot of potential (hence why it is a strength), I think you should look into converting more into a blog of sorts. Or, alternatively, you could look into making it just a simple homepage, similar to what we have here at Forum Promotion. Either way, make it somewhat interesting / relevant to guests, and I think you will find that it will be better. Anyhow, nice job on this section.

Weaknesses:

1. Layout Elements
   There are certain elements to your layout that I do not exact care for. I will start with the overall page length of your forum. Your forum has about 30 different board listings (/advertisements) that are taking up page space on the index, and for most forums, I would say this is way to many boards on the main index. I typically recommend users to have around 20 boards at maximum. I think it would be a good idea to possibly combine the Resources category into a different area, as that would probably be the easiest. Another idea is to move the tools of your forum to the right column of your forum somehow. I think though you will need to look at this for yourself and figure out a solution. Another thing I noticed is that your forum has a lot of different paid advertisement spots without being super established. I think paid advertisements are a necessary evil, however there needs to be a balance. I think the primary issue I have is that your forum has 6 "Forum sponsor" advertisements, while none have been purchased. I would recommend for now cutting it down to 2, except you can tell your customers that you have room for 6. Lastly, I don't think the "Share this page" area on the right column of your forum is necessary. It doesn't appear like people are using it either, and it is taking up space. I would recommend deleting it.
2. Activity Issues / Uniqueness
   I noticed a very specific issue that I think is worth addressing - for a promotion forum, your promotion area is very inactive compared to other areas, like the site information boards, chat boards, or even some of the webmaster boards. Your advertising boards seem to be quite empty. I think one of your forum's biggest goal needs to be to attract more members looking to improve their forum through promotion. Right now, if I was considered If you can really push the services of your forum, I think that you would be better off. To attract members, you really need to push that your forum and content is unique. Consider your strengths above and build upon it. Find more things that can differentiate you substantially from competitor promotion forums. This will help out a lot in the long run.
