Twitter and why it sucks..

@Joel it does and doesn't.. Also for those of you who want to tweet more than 140 try Tweetlonger.com ect.. 🙂 It is what most people use for those longer messages needed.

When it comes to following people, Twitter does has a limit of 2,000 or 10% more than the number of people you follow. So if you have 1,000 followers, you are limited to following 2,000 people. However, if you have 2,000 followers, you can follow 2,200 people. If you have 10,000 followers, you can follow 11,000 people.

Twitter doesn't suck, it just takes a while to get used to it. The majority of people on this forum will eventually begin to use Twitter regularly, if they don't already.

Twitter has only started generating revenue, through sponsored tweets. Up to that time they did not have any revenue sources.

It is very good indeed if used correctly. It might not seem useful to one who has no need for it. I understand that a teenager who spends his time outside and with friends might not have use for it apart from posting he needs the toilet every hour or explaining how he is making his cup of tea. Businesses can exploit the power of Twitter through it's reach. Aiming at thousands of readers and potential customers, Twitter is also fantastic for bloggers and news sites alike, allowing posts to be published within seconds in the micro-blogging format.

I'd appreciate it if we could stop with the "Weak." small comments, as this makes you seem childish. Kthxbai.

I also find the 140 character limit kind of annoying. I think it be cool if they made the limit 160-200 characters.
I like the short bursts, it forces companies to think outside the box and really learn what advertising is.
After 140 characters, if you haven't captured someone, chances are you won't at all.

They received money in the form of private investment. That's not the same as revenue, which refers to money received from selling something.
