yes. for example mine was made starting in gimp with no other images add. all was made by me and yours will be too. if you want you can request images to be put in it, but your twitter will be totally unique

I got a place to get some free backgrounds if you guys are too broke to buy one. I would really like a custom twitter background too but I don't have the money to pay for it. At least http://www.twitrounds.com has a simple golden retriever background that lines up well!
