Twitter has recently been testing a new profile design. It looks like the new changes bring an end to the old custom backgrounds. Not only that, but the profile and header pictures have both become a little lager than they once were. A new addition is the inclusion pinned tweets. Users will now be able to pin one tweet of their liking at the top of their timeline, which is a way of showing off the type of content that they’re proud of and it's another way of letting their audience know what they’re all about in addition to the information that's listed in their bio. I would not say so necessarily. Everything gives bad impact when used excessively or for the wrong purpose. If you can believe it, my friends and I used Twitter to discuss questions and materials before exam. So much that one of us was unable to use her Twitter for a period of 24 hours next because she made too many tweets at once. XD
I personally think the change is lovely, but Twitter now sounds and looks like Facebook, which I utterly dislike. I'm not too active on Twitter anymore nowadays due to other business so I don't exactly care, but it sure decreases my interest to go back using Twitter.
It is beginning to look a lot like Facebook in a way, but honestly it still looks like Twitter, if they can add more to that design it would probably be awesome. 😛
