What program do you use to do that?
This just hit me now, for instance, in Blogger's-built-in stats, on July 16th i received 598 pageviews. GA, which doesn't count bots or javascript-disabled-folks, says i only received 118 pageviews.
And on bit.ly, it says on July 16 i received 336 clicks. Clicks does not equal to pageviews, keep in mind. (So maybe in these 336 clicks, i got 598 pageviews... maybe 480 of those pageviews were bots (598-118))
The most accurate way to find out the pageviews and avoid this confusion is to go with Google Analytics and go to Traffic Sources>Referral and see how many people visited you through Twitter.
That's what i said and was so amazed at first because i thought BruteForce was using GA.
But i added the word "maybe" because some people disable javascript. Small percentage but i can't say 480 of those are bots. I can only say almost all of those 480 are bots.
