TWITTER Vs FACEBOOK
Who uses what social media more? I like twitter because of NASCAR and I get to advertise my website there and I've had lots of new NASCAR fan's join because of it. But others might find more use with Facebook or other media social nets.
But I think Twitter & Facebook are top two. I could be wrong. But out of the two, which one serves you well?
Guy~
Twitter because I don't get a thousand "Lyk if u remeber dis" posts and pictures. Seems like ever picture my friends like ends up showing up on my newsfeed.
Plus side to Facebook is: more of my friends and family have it instead of Twitter. If they'd make the change, I'd probably kiss Facebook goodbye.
Depends on what I'm using these services for. A quick update, announcement, short message is what I use Twitter for. Something more substantial would be better suited for Facebook.
I tend to view Twitter as a place better for interacting with people who aren't your friends where as Facebook is the place to interact with your friends.
i totally disagree with twitter being more user friendly or easier, adding a tweet to twitter and a facebook status are almost exactly the same.
A good method of advertising i found (this may be cheating a bit) but this is a facebook thing, go play mafia wars for a couple of days and advertise your self in the looking for mafia groups they have, you can quickly build up a friend list of a couple of thousand, though some may delete you just hold back from completely spamming all the time and you will find that people will click it and check it out.
This is a tough choice for me right now. I now use both, though I'd say I probably use twitter a bit more. I used to hate twitter, because I didn't understand the concept or purpose of tweeting, following, etc. Now though, I can say that I do really enjoy twitter, reading the trends, etc. Facebook is still better for a discussion (comments) and for showing pictures (and longer posts) but lately it's been a lot more spam than anything else (at least for me, but maybe my friends just suck lol).
I still don't. I think of Twitter as a downgraded Facebook, lacking a lot of features a good all-around social network site should have (direct file sharing instead of linking, image embedding, long posts, and so on). That's just my opinion, of course.
