So, of late twitter has established itself as one of the main 'Social networking' sites, but what makes it so great?

I've heard plenty about it, and more people around me are beginning to use it on a regular basis. I love the idea of "microblogging", and the (something like) 140 character limit, it almost makes it like a slow version of MSN with a public audience.

In essence, it's really a rip of MySpace's bulletin feature.

What do you make of it, would you ever use it? Do you use it now?

Would love to hear some feedback from current users. ~smile~

I have heard about it but never used it... I heard Phillip Schofield talk about it on "This Morning" today on tv so that itself is a reason for me not to use it if people like him are on it -lol-

Twitter = no.

Honestly, as admin ive added more people on msn and such (that I dont feel like blocking) than the "friends" id add on myspace and such.

I still consider msn the best way of communication in todays world, its the fastest and being able to have chat rooms makes group planning a breeze.

I'm more than certain they've reinforced their security since it was 'hacked'.

Also it's not meant for "communication", just to post updates...something you wouldn't do on MSN, or more to the point couldn't do effectively unless they were online.

I may use it soon ~smile~

So its a site that allows you to say what your doing, kinda like a man stauts, but only if the other users are online (which would they have to be to see your twitter status?). So its like myspace and msn mixed -n-

I also never said hacked, you can hardly call a simple brute force script a hack. Now if it was done by exploit id have a diffferent view but meh.

As I dont use any social networking sites, and im on msn so constantly that people can simply ask what im up to (not to mention I always have my phone on my person for the important people), I dont think ill waste my time joining. If I really wanted to keep people informed on my life, id just make a blog -😉-

I use it quite a bit, it is actually extremely useful. A MySpace bulletin site would just be crawling with MySpace whores sprouting out 'PC4PC', 'W4W' or all that lol, don't give anyone ideas!

I took the time today to setup my cell phone with it and I think i'll use it alot more now. I just send a txt to it and it updates for me, awesome.
