Well, two things are incredibly wrong. I can't connect to the internet except in AOL. Also, because of this, my malware program isn't working. So... how do I fix my internet?

OH, I misread your post, I thought your ISP was AOL.

Try running your Antivirus Scanner in Safe Mode or do a Boot Scan if you have the option. I suspect some sort of virus is preventing your computer from accessing the Internet.

Well you have malware for sure.

I suggest running in safe mode.

Then running maleware bytes full scan.

After it cleans up the crap.

Scan with spybot search and destroy for the rest of it.

And if it still feels weird or slow run a scan with your anti virus program.

I removed the crap with Malwarebytes, but Spybot Search requires a connection. 😉 I'll see what I can do about a boot scan, too.

Anyways back on topic...

You say safe mode won't start?

If so then try this -

If you have ccleaner. Open it and go to start up services.

Remove anything from that list that does not seem right.

Also if you can run hijack this and post the results.

Now seeing that your anti virus is refusing to work,I suggest trying an online scan.

Also try using this program instead of spybot - http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

or

http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/

It can run in safe mode, I just had a brain fart. 😛

Anyways, there are no viruses on my computer anymore (at least according to two databases), so that's good. I'll wait a day and see the results with the web.

First off when you actually find a problem like this NEVER EVER USE BIG NAMED programs as worms ect.. know how to make them not work..

Instead use the following program in "SAFE MODE"
