Just to let you know, if you don't already, you can now officially install Ubuntu 13.04 developer preview on your Nexus 7 tablet. However, I wouldn't recommend doing so just yet. I tried it and its awful. 😎 HOWEVER, I can see the potential. It's certainly something we've all been waiting for...Ubuntu compatibility on mobile devices. It just needs more time to settle down. It's totally unusable right now. I couldn't get the onscreen keyboard to type anything...at all.

Does it work with a Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse?

Great to see that Ubuntu works for Mobile devices as well.

I wonder if 13.04 will also work on iDevices. After they beta test. 😀

I don't think it will be on iDevices like the iPad anytime soon since it needs the Linux Kernel. But Mac OS might be possible.

This sounds great, I am a huge ubuntu nut. If they break into the mobile scene, one they can make a good penny for themselves which will help the develop but also I know we will get something sweet looking, dependable and one of a kind.

Thank you for this great news, I will hold out for a few bugs to get worked out but I am so happy to hear about this.

Well, you could... But it'd be really hacky.

Look up 'Open Source Ganster' On You Tube there's another way in getting ubuntu to run on Phones & Tablet.

Like @R44 said It might be possible but Hard and hacky.

Read my post again. I did not say that. I said hacky, in reference to your iDevice post.

FYI guys, the concept is great. However it doesn't work.
Read my first post for details. It was extremely unusable.

The one on YouTube works perfectly but you need to be rooted.
