Karmic Koala Alpha 4 will eventually become Ubuntu 9.10!

Karmic Koala is avalible for testing and should not be used for every day use. KK will be Ubuntu on steriods, it will be faster and better than the rest!

I will keep you updated through this thread :great:

Currently in the alpha tests I have seen that, YES it is compatible.

But when the finished product is released, it may not work. As code change are made to the whole Kernel. I would expect it to be compaitble though.

Sounds good. This would probably be the first time it would work 😛, also why do you say its not for everyday use?

Will have to do it later cause Im doing some online buisness (PS).

Are you really on the developement team?

Well, bud I live the life of vista. So everyday is a Alpha day.
LMAO hear hear! I got Ubuntu in a VM for stuff that needs to be secure, and for programming. Vista's preload feature sucks up so much Ram 😕

And to the OP, how is this version going to be so much faster?

Yeah 🙂

Im downloading the PC (Intel x86) UNR live CD edition right now. I should have it on my netbook in the next hour, by putting it on a flashdrive with unetbootin. After that Ill see if the Atheros is working before I install. If it does Ill remove Crunchband and install it. After that Ill try to keep a list of bugs and recommendations.

Gonna be fun.

Well with 9./04 and 9/10 the goal is to do as much tweaking as possible for speed.

I know when I changed from 8.10 to 9.04 the boot up was faster and the program load up was fast.

Now with that said I no longer use Ubuntu due to certain reasons that will not be said.

I now use opensuse 🙂.
