I'm just starting to use Ubuntu, been using Windows XP and Fedora Linux before.
So far Ubuntu is Very nice.

Ubuntu is what macs based their OS off, hence why thay are stable.
Mac uses Unix, which is a open source program. then Macs decided to sell it already a OS with come changes.

No, not really.

The only OS I prefer over Windows is OS X.

This is more of an opinionated question but here are the good things:

• Has 1 100% Faster Boot Up then Windows XP and up
• Come with preinsallted software such as GIMP and pidgeon.
• Make your own custom themes
• enchanced desktop

Okay first Mac is based off of freebsd,second unix is not and never was open source,third mac decided to sell their os cause they can.

Now at theezy it all depends on what you use your os for.

As for ubuntu being better don't make me start..
