Ubuntu Phones

I would use one if it can also run the desktop version of Ubuntu well when docked to a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

I don't really care about the smartphone features since I just use my phone for calling people, and don't really use it for apps since I own a Nexus 7 tablet which I use for mobile games, and apps like YouTube, and Google Talk.

I think the Ubuntu phone would be good for people who don't like paying for apps or being surprise when free apps become paid apps since Ubuntu is Linux, so there are plenty of free and open source apps like Firefox, Libreoffice, Gimp, and other free software which runs great on Ubuntu and other version of Linux.

Plus, with Linux software, it would be more likely that apps/software, operating system and its updates, and add-ons/plug-ins for software would stay free in the future since a lot of Linux software uses the open source, creative commons, GNU, or GPL license agreements.
