UK Student to be Extradited to the US

Richard O’Dwyer, the UK-based ex-administrator of the video linking website TVShack will be extradited to the US to face copyright infringement charges. Despite public outrage Home Secretary Theresa May approved the extradition order today. The 23-year-old student has never visited United States, but now faces several years in a US prison.

Gotta give it up to the US of A, what a class act. Our government feels the need to kidnap citizens from other countries while protecting a murderer who massacred women and children in Afghanistan, what a wonderful role model. Richard O'Dwyer will probably rot in a high security cell in a foreign country while this soldier will probably acquitted and will be hailed a hero by conservatives, you heard it here first 😛.

So the USA can basically charge anybody with anything that's a crime in the USA even if it's not illegal in the person's home country (as long as it's hurting the bottom line of a corporation, of course)?
