Unable to add smilies

I dont understand why but then I just cant seem to add smilies to my forum.

LOL I meant to ask for some assistance

So, what is preventing you from adding smilies exactly?

It so happens that when I add smiliies I can see the images then as soon as I refresh the page I see the list of added smilies but not the images. Then in the editor all I see is the text instead of the images for the smilies.
When I add them to a post only a cross appears not the image

Hmm I don't know MyBB very well, but the red cross is saying the path to the image is wrong, or doesn't exist, have you uploaded them to the correct folder ?

I would like to comment my previous post.

The thing is, that is exactly what happened. He said he can't add smiles, nothing else and I said okay. He did not ask any help not provide any information.

I did not want to make a joke, it was just my honest reply.

Like I said when I add them I see the smilies added in the admin cp. But as soon as I refresh they are all gone. And never to come back again..🙁
