It looks like you have a good deal of members, but not too many are active. I also noticed the co-admin/mod haven't been active in months.

Seems to me that the forum needs a reboot. I'd suggest creating a lot of new threads and posting a lot on genre related forums in order to get a userbase.

As I said above, breaking into the genre can be difficult because finding members at the start is very difficult, but it's such a narrow topic that it's hard to fall out once you are in.

Thanks for the tips! I'm trying my best to come up with unique topics, advertising on other websites, advertising on Facebook, and even submitting the site to free web submission websites. I'm going to keep trying my best to get the word out there for Undead or Alive. 🙂

How long did it take you to get your zombie forum this far? Seems like it'd take a long while to get statistics like that, haha!

The site has been open since September of last year, so 9 months. I also had another zombie forum in the past that I sold that was up close to 20k within a year. The new owner drove it into the ground.

That's really great for just 9 months. Mine's been open for probably around 6 months, and it hasn't really gotten anywhere haha. But I'm going to continue making new topics.

That's what it comes down to. I actually have a group of topics that I make on all forums of the same genre, with my link in my signature. It helped get the forum started off on a good note.

I gave up there quickly as they are not very good for clicks. Only 21 clicks from the site in the entire time my site has been open.

The Zombie Roleplaying section has been removed. No one actually posted in it, so it's better to just have it hidden. Once the forum gets bigger, I'll consider adding the section back.
