You just began your journey to Jefferson City four hours ago by leaving your safe house. And now, you are walking down the highway with your backpack filled with food, water, a knife, and Shotgun ammo; and you are also carrying your Shotgun with the safety off. You continue walking down the highway. After a few minutes, you find an abandoned car on the side of the road, and you search it. No keys. The only thing you find is a map and a lighter. You step outside of the vehicle, take a big breath, look around you, and see nothing except the highway and trees. You then make the decision to step back into the car, lock the doors, and fall asleep in the back on the floor board. The sleep is apparently a deep sleep that lasts for two and a half hours. You then wake up to terrible, unhuman-like screams and moans outside on the highway. You slowly sit up from the floor board, peek out the window to find the infected roaming the highway. They're everywhere. They know you're there, but they do not know that you're in the car. They can smell your flesh, and that's why they're there. You could exit the car by quietly jumping out on the right side and heading into the woods, but that's where the infected seem to be coming from. You need to escape. There's no sense in staying here in the car because they smell you, and they're not going to leave. Eventually, one of them will see you lying in the car, and they will attack the car until they can get to you. What do you do?
